Licence and clause 18.1.1

Cloudbet in Spain: fast payment and verification with no threshold

Cloudbet's clause 18.1.1 has been read in its own terms and mentions no figure: documents may be requested before any withdrawal, whatever the amount.

What the licence says and who operates Cloudbet

Cloudbet has operated since 2013 under Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. and publishes a Curaçao licence, number OGL/2024/328/0599, verified in the register. That datum answers only part of the question is Cloudbet safe: it confirms that an active permit exists, but it does not turn gambling into a guarantee. The Spanish framework of reference is the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) and Gambling Act 13/2011; the licence Cloudbet displays is not issued by that body. Casinos without a Spanish licence usually rest on permits from outside the DGOJ, and Cloudbet is no exception.

Cloudbet Spain shows up in crypto players' searches, but its operation is governed by the operator's conditions and not by a Spanish permit. Registration asks only for an email address. At sign-up no document is required; the control comes later, at the withdrawal. That is worth reading before depositing. The restricted countries clause has not been confirmed individually and you should read the terms before depositing.

A licence number is good for something concrete: it is searched for in the register and returns an entry or returns nothing. Cloudbet passes that test, and in this comparison eight of the ten operators reviewed pass it; the remaining two appear in no register. The corporate address is public too. A player who arrives from Spain is not facing a casino with a DGOJ permit, but a foreign operator that accepts users from several jurisdictions. That difference is not cosmetic: it changes which authority handles a complaint and which law applies.

Clause 18.1.1: verification with no written amount

Here is the datum that changes this entry. In August 2026 we read clause 18.1.1 in Cloudbet's own terms, on an archived copy of its conditions page. The clause exists, describes when the operator may require identification and names no amount. There is no line above which documents start to be requested, and no daily ceiling below which the withdrawal is safe from the formality.

It is worth saying plainly, because the previous version of this page said something else. A daily cap in dollars attributed to Cloudbet used to circulate here. That amount does not appear in the operator's contract: it comes from review websites that cite each other. We have removed it from this entry and from the comparison table, and we do not repeat it. A number nobody can point to in a clause is not a datum about the casino; it is a datum about whoever copied it.

What is left is worse for the player, not better. A published threshold, even a low one, allows planning: below it you are paid without a formality, above it you send documents. A policy with no amount turns every withdrawal into a decision of the operator. Nothing may be asked for months and the request may appear just when the balance matters. That is how risk-based verification works, and it is the model described by casinos without ID: they do not remove identity, they postpone it.

How long the withdrawal takes and what cap we have not found

The documentary review opens when the operator considers it necessary and it has no written deadline.

On the ceiling for payouts we have to be exact: we have not read a withdrawal cap in Cloudbet's terms. That does not mean none exists, nor that the operator declares it has none. It means that point of the contract has not been checked by us, and that is why its box in the comparison is left without a figure. In the same table, Wild.io does publish its limit with a clause number, 9.6, and there the difference is measurable.

For the Spanish player it is worth separating two things that are usually told as one: the operator's review, which has no written deadline, and confirmation on the network, which only starts once the casino has sent the transaction.

The Cloudbet bonus and the unpublished requirement

The welcome bonus advertises 100%, but does not publish the wagering multiple. That is different from a bonus with no conditions: it means the requirement exists or may exist, it simply is not shown. In other operators' welcome bonuses the multiple is set out before you accept. Not here.

Without that number, the 100% cannot be compared with the 40× the table records for BC.Game or with the 80× for Betpanda. Wagering the deposit once and wagering it eighty times are not the same offer, and the difference is only discovered on accepting or on trying to collect. Nor is it set out whether the bonus is limited to one currency, to one section of the casino or to a maximum deposit.

The operator does publish that it has a sports betting house and 3000 games from 40 studios, but it does not offer provably fair games. That reduces the possibility of checking results independently: the slots are not verified on chain. If you are after that control, there are crypto casinos that do offer it, and the difference is explained there. The methodology by which each of these sections is compared is described in how we classify.

Where Cloudbet Spain fits in the comparison

Cloudbet offers a way in with an email alone and a medium-sized catalogue. The published support is live chat and email.

The catalogue of 3000 games is wide, but the number says nothing about the RTPs or about which studios are behind them. Nor does the operator set out whether all the titles are available from Spain, or whether the euro account coexists with all the cryptocurrencies. That Cloudbet cites the Spanish framework at some point does not imply supervision: it does not display a DGOJ licence, and the territorial restriction clause remains unconfirmed.

The honest summary is a sequence, not a note. First you deposit with an email, then you ask for the withdrawal and, at the moment the operator chooses, the request for documents appears that clause 18.1.1 authorises without putting a price on it. Anyone who moves small amounts may never see that third step. Anyone who builds up a balance should assume it will come, and work it out from the first deposit.
