For an operator that is not in the DGOJ register, that entry binds it to nothing. The operator may offer a self-exclusion system of its own, but it is not obliged to by Spanish law.

The same goes for deposit limits, time controls and the responsible-gambling mechanisms the DGOJ requires of licensed operators. None of those controls is compulsory for an online casino outside spain. Some include them as a courtesy. Others do not.
